The Devonté Squire Acting Apprenticeship – 2014

The Devonté Squire 2014 Apprentice will be paid $1,200 total for working as an actor in a main stage DFT production of “The Watsons Go to Birmingham – 1963,” from the Newbery and Coretta Scott King Award winning novel by Christopher Paul Curtis, adapted by Reginald André Jackson. The apprentice is expected to work 15-hours per week for 8 and 1/2 -weeks, beginning on Saturday, September 13, 2014.

All qualified NCCU Department of Theatre and Dance students are welcome to apply & audition for the Devonté Squire Acting Apprenticeship 2014 – significant roles for women and men are available in the play.
