Rosalind, Christine Allen, and Orlando, Bradley Williams, in rehearsal for “As You Like It”

The past few weeks have been beyond busy with “As You Like It” rehearsals  in the evenings, DFT acting classes going strong, teaching in the STARS afterschool program at EK Powe for my 2nd year and teaching for a week at the DAC Intercession Arts Camp. Officially I’m on a half-day work-break, but I can’t wait to share the great news:

The Hayti Heritage Center has offered to support Durham Family Theatre in presenting “As You Like It” on stage in the historic St. Joseph’s Performance Hall. We’ve gladly adjusted our opening night back to Thursday, Nov. 3rd, 8 pm, (Nov. 3, 4, 11, 12) to accommodate the Hayti’s busy schedule. And tickets for the funny, romantic, bawdy, cynical, politic, witty and wild comedy are now available on the DFT Shows page or through the mail to DFT, PO Box 61894, Durham, 27715.

Support ticket sales for this exciting fall offering from Durham’s inter-generational, multi-racial, multi-ethnic community theatre by downloading the flier here AYLI Flier and giving it to everyone you know – post it on neighborhood list serves if you like. Be creative. Tweet like a bird. Spread the word. “As You Like It” is coming soon, to a gorgeous, historic stage near you.

Warmly, Jenny
