Where Are They Now?

Korinn Annette Jefferies, Howard University

Since DFT is in our fifth year, some of our former students have graduated high school and are in their first years of colleges. I thought you would like to see what our old friends are doing in their new lives, so I reached out to some DFT Alums.

Today, I heard from Korinn Jefferies, the lovely singer/actress who performed the lead role of Brigid in last year’s DFT original musical, “Brigid Without a Story.”

Korinn writes: “DFT has really helped me become the talented actress I am today.”

“Korinn Annette Jefferies is acting, singing, and dancing her way through college as a Musical Theatre Major at Howard University in Washington, DC. She serves on the North Carolina Club E-Board and is a member of the Performing Arts Organization, The Howard Players. Upon graduating, she would like to act on Broadway, eventually opening her own performing arts studio. Korinn would like to encourage young artists to never give up on their dreams and to always fight for what they believe in.”
