Do you have acting classes for 3 year olds?

    • Dear Saundra,
Thanks for asking – we don’t as yet offer classes for 3 year olds; however for the next few years DRT will be adding additional teaching staff and classes, so if you know of others who might be interested please let me hear from them.
      Warmly, Jenny Justice

  2. Question about the Believe in the Story class – will the kids get to put on any shows during this class? Thanks.

    • Dear Rose, Thanks for asking. Yes – every DFT class ends with a showcase performance of a one-act play. Family and friends are welcome. The show is followed by refreshments of course!

when will your fall and winter class schedules for adults be posted?

    • Hi Janet, Your question is timely. The class schedules for next year will be posted by next Sunday night – July 8th – Then I’ll plunge into four more weeks of summer performance camps. Let me know if you have any more questions. Jenny

  4. Hi… I would like to know when your classes are going to be posted for the next term? We have kids and are trying to find a. Class for them. Also, what is required for auditions?
    Thanks, Rose

    • Dear Rose,
Thank you so much for asking – I’m putting the finishing touches on the winter and spring class descriptions and should have them posted by Tuesday of this week at the lastest. In general I can tell you that, in the winter, I plan to offer a Thursday evening storytelling class for ages 12 – adults, a Friday afternoon acting class for students aged 6-11 and a Saturday morning Teen Acting Studio. No auditions are required to take part in classes – and for the auditions for our upcoming Family Musical based on the Pooh books by A.A. Milne, the auditions are on Jan 7 & 9, actors will be asked to read from the script and singers will be asked to prepare a one-minute song.
More info will be posted soon, but I hope this gives you something useful until then.
      Warmly, Jenny Justice

Hi, I’m looking for acting classes for my daughter. She is 8 years old, (she’ll be 9 in April). I am interested in receiving any information on the March classes when available. Thanks

    • Dear Rhumel,
Greetings! It’s a timely question – the schedule for DFT’S spring classes will be posted and registration available by Dr. King’s birthday. (Happy Birthday Dr. King) I look forward to meeting your daughter.
